Coaches Will Glenn and Manuel Diaz with Honorary Team Captain, Raul, a recent cancer survivor. On May 22, 2007 the Georgia Men's Tennis Team completed an undefeated season and became the 2007 National Champions! During the week, Lesley Platek created a video to commemorate the victory! The top six Georgia Men's Tennis players were selected to All-Conference teams for the second consecutive year. In addition, Coach Manuel Diaz was named SEC Coach of the Year and Georgia's number one player who is also ranked number one in the country, John Isner was named SEC Player of the Year.
